RICHARD PINDER
DIRECTOR
Richard is the Founder and Director of S&R Groundworks Ltd and has over 25 years of experience within the civil engineering and groundworks industry. Since establishing the business in 2011, he has successfully built a trusted, family-run company renowned for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, public, and private sectors.
Richard holds a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Civil Engineering and possesses a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of groundworks, civil engineering, project management, and business operations. He also holds a CSCS Manager Card and Street Works Supervisor accreditation, enabling him to supervise works carried out on the public highway in accordance with local authority requirements.

DAN PINDER
SITE SUPERVISOR
Daniel has been a valued member of the S&R Groundworks team for over six years and has developed into an experienced and highly capable Site Supervisor. Throughout his career with the company, he has worked on a diverse range of projects, from residential developments and hard landscaping through to large-scale commercial and civil engineering schemes.
Daniel has played a key role in delivering projects for clients including Hull City Council, Capital Plc (on behalf of KFC), and CTS (on behalf of Sainsbury's and Waitrose), consistently ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
He holds a Gold CSCS Supervisor Card and a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision – Building & Civil Engineering, demonstrating his technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards.

JACK PINDER
SITE SUPERVISOR
Jack has been an integral part of the S&R Groundworks team for over ten years and has extensive experience across all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering. During his time with the company, he has worked on projects ranging from domestic driveways and external works to major commercial and local authority contracts.
His project experience includes works for East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Capital Plc (on behalf of KFC), Houlton, and numerous other commercial developments, where his attention to detail and commitment to quality have earned the trust of both clients and colleagues.
Jack holds a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision – Building & Civil Engineering, equipping him with the knowledge and expertise to effectively manage site operations while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

RACHAEL SELBY
OFFICE MANAGER
Rachael has been a key member of the S&R Groundworks team for over five years and is responsible for the day-to-day administration that keeps the business operating efficiently. As Office Manager, she oversees a wide range of essential functions, including tender submissions, invoicing, scheduling labour, coordinating plant and materials, arranging site deliveries, and ensuring projects are fully supported from the office.
With exceptional organisational skills and a proactive approach, Rachael plays a vital role in maintaining communication between clients, suppliers, and site teams, ensuring projects run smoothly from enquiry through to completion. Her ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and professionalism makes her an invaluable member of the business.
